We wanted to build a scenario as delicate and subtle as a Japanese print, with the minimum information. The whole scenario was made with a tissue called organdy that no longer exists, allowing a very special density treat. In the initial design the stage would literally come down, dismantling completely in the grand finale. But in the first test scenario we realized that, with the dramatic sequence culminating in the death of Butterfly, the fall could not happen. The scenario, as it was, was enough to involve the action.
